Be Clean In My Outdoor Manners
Hi there! it's tiger Tuesday. Today we're going to take a look at the Tigers in the Wild Adventure with requirement 3. This has us looking at the Outdoor Code.
As an American, I will do my best to: be clean in my outdoor manners. Be careful with fire. Be considerate in the outdoors. Be conservation-minded.
Now what does it mean to be clean in my outdoor manners?
This kind of goes along with the Leave No Trace for kids. Where you should trash your trash. when taking care of the outdoors you're keeping trash and garbage out of lakes, streams, fields, woods and roadways. You're taking care of it not only for yourself but for others.
One activity that we always do when we're on a hike or camping is we bring a grocery bag with us and we fill those grocery bags most of the time all the way full. It's awesome when other hikers and campers in the area notice the Pack or Troop doing their good turn daily while we are cleaning up the area and they also start helping. there's a song that has a line that says this land is your land this land is my land. This land was made for you and me. let us all continue to take care of this land for future generations.
Thanks for hanging out with us! See you next Tiger Tuesday.
