How To Make Hummingbird Nectar

To make hummingbird nectar you only need two ingredients. Water and Sugar.  The ratio is 4 parts water to 1 parts sugar. Heat up your water (Have an adult help you when working with the hot water.)  Next, add the sugar.  We are making 8 cups of nectar, so we will need 2 cups of sugar. Mix it up until the sugar dissolves. You do not need to add red food coloring.  Fill up your hummingbird feeders. Hang your feeder and change out the nectar at least once a week.
