Maple Bar Popcorn

This simple and delicious recipe is one that all ages can make and enjoy. If you like maple bars, you will really enjoy this one.

Ingredients:

10-12 cups popped popcorn (roughly half cup un-popped corn) - we use an air popper
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup powdered sugar

  1. Pop your corn and remove any un-popped kernels.

  2. Place the butter (1 stick) and maple syrup into a microwave safe container and melt for roughly 30 seconds. Stir the two ingredients together until fully incorporated. Pour over the popcorn and stir to coat all the kernels. We use a large bowl and shake the popcorn to mix. Last, pour the powder sugar over the popcorn and stir or shake to cover all the kernels.

Enjoy!

This popcorn treat is a little gooey at first right when you make it and eventually get crunchier the longer it sits out.
