There are countless variations of the neckerchief throughout all the packs, troop, and crews that are out there. My favorite neckerchief when I was a scout was my staff neckerchief for Island Park Scout Camp.  Along the triangle it had fringe along the edge to resemble the fringe on a mountain man's coat.  We also wore it with our collar folded inside of our shirt.

Your Neckerchief

You may wear a neckerchief with V-necked or regular shirts. Turn collar of regular shirt under to wear neckerchief.

Here's how to wear it:

Roll long edge over and over several times to about 6 inches from the tip.

Place rolled neckerchief around your neck. Pull neckerchief slide up snugly. Tie or keep ends loose according to the rule of your pack.

Neckerchief should fit smoothly on back of shirt, 6 inches from tip to top of fold.
