Simple Balloon Hovercraft

This simple project can be done during your next pack or den meeting. Works great as a gathering activity before the meeting starts. Make sure to use adult supervision with using the hot glue gun and keep the balloons away from the little ones.

One adaptation that works well for a longer hover is using the top of a water bottle that has a smaller nozzle that can channel the air into a smaller stream as it leaves the balloon.

Keep it simple and make it fun.

Items needed:

• Compact Disc

• 2 liter or 20oz bottle top (removed from the bottle)

• Glue stick and glue gun

• Balloon
